Medfield DPW Reminds Medfield Residents - WATER RESTRICTIONS! As a reminder, Medfield is currently under a Tier 4 Water Restriction which prohibits nonessential outdoor water use. Due to an ongoing equipment repair at Well #6, we had to take the well offline. As a result, the Department of Public Works declared an immediate Tier 4 water restriction: nonessential outdoor water use, except by handheld hose, is prohibited. Water use is increasing and is putting pressure on the Town's distribution system and active water wells, impacting our ability to maintain necessary water pressure. Automatic irrigation systems should be turned off. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding. More information is available on the Town website.
