The empowerment of women is necessary for the development and sustainability of a strong and capable community, as well as enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. Many families still face uncertain futures and are often forced to make some tough quality-of-life decisions with regard to caring for themselves and their families. Women's empowerment and achieving gender equality is essential for our families and our community to ensure, the growth and well-being of their loved ones. This free event is open to all women in the City of Inglewood. It will consist of powerful and informative empowerment workshops on topics such as Health Empowerment, Creative Empowerment, and Financial Empowerment along with a keynote speaker, appearances by the Mayor and Inglewood City Council.
