HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two school buses and an SUV crashed Thursday afternoon in Harford County, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
The collision happened on MD 24 at MD 7/Philadelphia Road around 3:45 p.m., officials said.
For nearly two hours, Route 7 was closed, the sheriff's office advised, as medical personnel evaluated those involved and the traffic unit investigated.
At 4:45 p.m., authorities said Harford County Public Schools was releasing children to their parents, and all other students were transferred to other buses and taken home.
"No children or adults have been transported to the hospital at this time," the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
More than five people were injured, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which reported multiple ambulances were called to the scene.
None of the injuries was serious, according to the sheriff's office, which reported the road had reopened by 5:35 p.m.
