Press release from the City of Littleton: May 24, 2022 The Littleton Police Department (LPD) and South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) responded to a house fire in the 6100 block of South Spotswood Street on May 20 at 5:00 p.m. LPD Officers and SMFR worked together to rescue two people and two dogs who were trapped in the basement. No one was transported to the hospital, and there were no reports of any injuries. SMFR identified the cause of the fire as suspicious. LPD Detectives re-entered the home and determined the cause of the fire to be arson. LPD officers arrested 43-year-old Jessica Leann Williams on charges of fourth-degree arson. Williams is currently in the Arapahoe County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond. SMFR identified the cause of the fire as suspicious.
