Press release from the City of San Antonio: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 CONTACT: Paul Jimenez [email protected] SAN ANTONIO (May 25, 2022) – "Our prayers are with the families of the innocent lives taken from our neighbors in Uvalde. We are shaken to the core over these senseless and maniacal killings. We cannot tolerate this type of violence against children and teachers in our schools. All children deserve to learn in schools free of violence and fear, and parents should not worry that their children could be harmed at school. Our hope is that during this time of immense sadness and grieving, we remember these children and their families as well as the adult victims and their families and provide whatever assistance we can to our neighbors in Uvalde. This action was just pure evil." This press release was produced by the City of San Antonio. The views expressed here are the author's own.
