Parents and Family Weekend returns this fall - but this time, we're taking a stroll down Bourbon Street! Join the Florida A&M University FAMUly as we kick off our Mardi Gras-themed events September 30 - October 2, 2022. As usual, we are jam-packing the weekend with frills, thrills, and of course, that unmistakable Rattler spirit. Find that masquerade ball mask and practice your moves for the Second Line parade - we’re headed to Parents and Family Weekend: Mardi Gras ! Facial masks or coverings are strongly encouraged. Tentative Schedule of Events:Friday, September 30: Check-In ~~ 9am - 5pm (Grand Ballroom Lobby) Welcome Luncheon ~~ Noon - 1pm (Grand Ballroom) Old School Set Friday & NPHC Yardshow ~~ Noon - 3pm (Will Packer Performing Arts Amphitheater) Masquerade Party ~~ 8pm - Midnight (Grand Ballroom) Saturday, October 1: Check-In ~~ 10am - 2pm (Multipurpose Rooms Lobby) Family Field Day ~~ 11am - 1pm (On-campus location TBD) Downtime & FAMU Campus Tours ~~ 1pm - 3pm Tailgate ~~ 4pm - 6pm (Location TBD) Football Game & End Zone Tailgate (End Zone Tailgate access sold separately) - FAMU vs. Mississippi Valley State University ~~ 6pm (Bragg Stadium) Sunday, October 2: Farewell Brunch ~~ 10:30am - 12:30pm (On-campus location TBD) Please note:No refunds, pro-rated rates, or à la carte options. No on-site registration.Facial masks coverings are highly encouraged. If rain is in the forecast, the event organizer will send out a message at least three days prior to event start date with rain locations. Parking decals will be emailed to the address used for registering. Tickets include access to all scheduled events, meals, and registration items. Football game tickets are included in all registrations EXCEPT for students.End Zone Tailgate access is sold separately through the Division of Institutional Advancement.
