During high school, a tragic farm accident severed Munn's arm above the elbow and his leg above the knee. He is a former top 30 player in the "World Ranking for Golfers with Disability" (WR4GD). Munn has partnered in founding a golf-focused ministry in Argentina and has joined with Christian ministries on multiple tours with amateur and professional golfers. Through these activities he has seen lives of athletes changed by the transformative power of the Gospel. In addition to being a double amputee, a widower, an entrepreneur and business owner, according to Munn he is "most importantly, a sinner saved by grace."
