Description

TRIBOB is a community organization and Facebook group with more than 25,000 members whose goal is to connect consumers and businesses in the Triangle. The group developed in 2016 as a result of the senseless murder of Philando Castile. Initially, the organization took to the streets protesting racial injustice before shifting the focus to uniting the black community and supporting black owned businesses. Recently, the TRIBOB mission has expanded to also include educating the black community, building wealth within the community and equipping the next generation with success tools. In view of that, TRIBOB is partnering with Studio Motif Durham and other local business to host a Juneteenth celebration.
