With a gurgle and a lot of wrinkled creaks, Garbage Fest is returning to Portland June 3 4 & 5 for a series of impossibly naive and horrifying gestures: Friday 6/3 will be a performance marathon at Headwaters Theater (55 NE Farragut St, Unit 9) from 4 to 10pm. Sponsored Trash, Zai Outlaw, Dead Death, Arrington Dionyso, Halloweener, meriotik, enormousface, Slugbait, SMEGMO, Jared Maurice Dancler, Paper & Rags, [a Talent Show] and many more. ($uggested/NTAFLOF) Saturday 6/4 will begin at Kenton Park in north Portland at 10am deploying a series of Teams building Stations of the trash around the neighborhood: Pin the Garbage on the Garbage, Breaking Things, Trashion Show, Giant Garbage Puppets, etc... culminating in a Parade (~2pm) to all the sites, and ultimately a Voltron bringing everything together. Sunday 6/5 will be a day of wider diaspora around Portland, where groups will build and film Garbage Interventions in far-flung corners of the city and then reunite by 3pm at Alder Commons (4212 NE Prescott St) for the "What is Garbage" conference.
