Beginning on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, the "Duanwu Festival", also popular known as "Dragon Boat Festival" is a traditional Chinese holiday that has been around for thousands of years. The Festival hosts many cultural activities during the day. •Come and learn the ancient story of Dragon Boat Festival and why Chinese people celebrate it by holding Dragon Boat Races and Eating Zong Zi; • Art expresses the imagination and history of a culture. We will feature live Chinese music, Kung Fu displays, Chinese dances and Peking Opera performance; • The Festival offers fun arts and crafts for the family! We will introduce Chinese Zong Zi and teach you how to make it; We will also have Chinese artists on site demonstrating Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese painting and other traditional Chinese arts. • Food has always been one of the best ways to bridge different cultures. We will invite you to taste Zong Zi and different varieties of Chinese tea; There are activities for all ages!
