Fremont Firefighters Battle Blaze At Abandoned Restaurant

FREMONT, CA — Firefighters in Fremont on Thursday night responded to a structure fire at an abandoned restaurant. On Thursday at 10:22 p.m., the Fremont Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 36659 Fremont Blvd. Responding firefighters initially searched the building and confirmed no one was inside. Crews then withdrew from the building and performed a defensive fire attack from outside. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within 90 minutes, and the fire was contained to the building.
