(I’m reposting this!) I adopted Barry in 2020 as a 4 month old kitten and now he’s in his teenage/junior phase of life (he’s not an adult cat yet despite being two years old). I’m letting him go because I don’t have the ability to properly take care of him and provide him with attention he needs. He’s a loving, intelligent, social cat, will greet basically anybody however he can be bratty and a lil crazy like most cats. He loves being outdoors pretty much most of the day, or sleeping inside most of the day. I’m not sure if he meshes well with dogs but I’ve seen him play with a neighbors cat and it seems like they’re friends. I would say if you’re interested in him, be aware that he has a big personality and so boundaries are key, he’s a junior cat after all. Also if you live around woods, or far enough from roads that’s ideal for his safety. He loves exploring!!
He needs to have a lot of outdoor space, an apartment is not good for him! More like a home or a farm!
I’ve seen him play with lizards, birds, etc. so I’m not sure if him being around small animals is the best living situation.
He has all of his shots and is neutered! I also have his paperwork I got when I adopted him from Fayetteville Animal Services. Also I have all of his furniture, food, etc.
I love this cat so much, so if you decide to adopt him please take care of him. If you have any issues with him after you do adopt him, please let me know.
