Adult rooster looking for a good home to do rooster things. This guy was abandoned in a neighborhood this winter and was found shivering on someone’s porch during the week in January when the temps dropped below zero. My wife and I took him in to give him a chance at a good life. His comb was black on top which I thought could be from frost bite. Since then he has gained some weight and his comb is all back to a normal bright red. However, he has become aggressive towards us, pecking/biting when we give him food/water. I think he needs other bird friends or chickens, and if he could free roam I’m sure he would love that. Sadly, we cannot provide that for him. He is big! Maybe a Sussex breed? Guessing about 2 years old. Would add size to your flock. $10 to help ensure he gets to live. Txt Thanks!
