Folk Punk/NewGrass Band looking for Players

Howdy! Do you love southern/Appalachian style music, but live way up in New York City? If so, then I want to talk to you! I’m a Clawhammer Banjo player based in Washington Heights looking to start a band with a Folk Punk/NewGrass/Traditional sound. Influences include groups like Barefoot Surrender, The Devil Makes Three, Possessed by Paul James, Poor Man’s Poison, the Gems on VHS YouTube channel, Billy Strings, etc. Looking for players on the following instruments: Mandolin, Fiddle, Bass, and Guitar. If you write songs, even better. I have a few songs written and can sing if need be, but I definitely don’t have to be lead vocal Friday availability is a must, as that is my most consistent day off from work. I have plenty of space to play at my apartment, but am willing to commute if need be. I play solo shows frequently around manhattan and Brooklyn, so I am optimistic about booking once a group is put together. If you think you are a good fit for this project, please respond and we can trade clips or meet up to see if there is a good vibe between us.
