Found Black and White Cat

This fellow showed up in our barn a couple of months ago. He's a little timid but a loving, purring biscuit-maker once he gets to know you. A great eater. And we are pretty sure he is deaf. I'm working up to getting him in a carrier and to the vet to check for a chip. I asked around my neighborhood and posted on Nextdoor, but maybe he came from further afield?
