Looking for a small family dog

I am a stay at home mom with 3 children under 11. Our beloved dog of 7 years recently passed unexpectedly. We are in absolutely no rush, but are in search for the perfect dog to fit into our family. We are a big sports family and our nights consists of football and cheer practices, and we would love to able to bring our new fur baby along to the field (meaning he/she has to be good around people). We have a huge fenced in yard, and a very active 4 year old and it would be another bonus to find a dog that enjoys fetch and a good walk around the neighborhood. We would prefer to find a young dog between the ages of 1-3 and under 30 lbs because we do have a busy lifestyle and I would rather not have to train a puppy. This dog will be a part of our family meaning we plan to bring him/her everywhere with us. He/she must be good with children and other animals.
