"60 Years Of Rock" New Cover Band Forming

Meets

Tonawanda NY

Description

A brief history of my experience...I play bass and sing. I have been learning and practicing songs for over 50 years. I know or I am very familiar with over 400 songs, mostly upbeat harmonic rock. About 80 of these songs are songs sung by women vocalists. Females are welcome to join this band. I was in a band for 15 years that did not play out. (We worked nights and weekends. I am retired now.) I don't care if we play out, as long as we are happy with what we are playing. If we play out, that is good too. If you are another 97 Rock classic rock party musician that only plays 97 Rock play list songs (mostly the same rock songs from the 70's and 80s) then I am only interested if you will learn and play other songs from the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and 2000s. I have played 97 Rock songs back then and since then, I had to expand that list to keep my sanity. There has been over 30 years of rock songs that most WNY classic rock bands ignore. (If you have a female vocalist and you don't perform songs by more modern artists, like Avrial Levigne, Evanescence or some other modern female singers, someone who will is going blow your band right off the stage. The same holds true for male vocalist songs.) I would much rather be in a band that knows 60 years of rock, than a band that only plays 97 Rock 70s and 80s playlists. Would you go see a band that knows 60 years of songs or 20 and those 20 years of songs are from 50 years ago? Would you rather be in a band that is billed as a "60 Years of Rock" band or a "Classic Rock" band. "Classic Rock" really means "The 97 Rock music station playlist from the 70s and 80s." I am looking for a rhythm guitar player, a lead guitar player, a keyboard player and a drummer. Any singers are welcome. I can help you learn songs with a system I use. I am also willing to join a band that likes my ideas and the songs I play. Here is a link to some youtube videos of me singing and playing bass to some of these songs. Please send me your song lists. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkOeoyxamTHB891S_zfeNRPMNxeR_pJFH Paul
