We are an events company that hosts, among other things, trivia nights (this is us: www.longdistancetrivia.com) and board game speed dating events (this is us: www.boardgamespeeddating.com). This Thursday, June 2nd, at Dorchester Brewing, we are doing a photo shoot to put together marketing materials for both. So we need folks in their 20s to early 30s to appear in that photoshoot. You don't have to be a model and we want people of all types. The gig will pay $100 plus you'd get to play a game of trivia plus we'll give you a token good for a free drink of your choice. Should be a fun night! Here are the details... From 6-8pm EST, we will host a trivia game and use it as an opportunity to get candid photos and video of people playing the game. You'd get to play in the trivia game, and basically have a good time while we take photos. If you want to come solo, we will put you on a team with others. If you want to bring friends, they are welcome, though again they need to be 20's to early 30's and fun-loving people who are comfortable being photographed. We wouldn't be able to pay your friends, but we'd give them each two tokens good for free drinks from the tap- beer, cider or hard seltzer. We might also ask you to hop on the mic and ask a couple of questions and basically play the role of trivia host. Then you'll take a break from 8-8:30 as we set up the room for the photos of the speed dating event. From 8:30-9:30, you'd come back and be in a bunch of staged photos for board game speed dating. We'd match you with different people (most of the shots would be two people looking a little flirtatious as they play board games). We need people for shots of men & women, and also same-sex shots for our all-men events and all-women events, both of which are coming this fall. We'd ask you to arrive around 5:30 and you'd be done by 9:30. For your time, you'd be paid $100, you'd get to play a free game of trivia, and we'd give you a token good for a free drink of your choice. Photos and video would be used on our website, in ads, fliers and other marketing materials, and all participants will be asked to sign a photo/video release. If you are interested, please e-mail us and include a photo of yourself in the e-mail. Please also let us know if you'd like to bring friends to the photo shoot if you got in. Additionally, let us know for the board game speed dating photos whether you would want to be in the men+women photos, the all-women photos, the all-men photos or some combination therof. Finally, if you have a romantic partner who would like to be in the board game speed dating photos with you, you can submit as a duo, in which case you should include pictures of both of you.
