This sweet girl, Laika, was abandoned with her three sisters on the streets of our small town in Mexico, north of Puerto Vallarta, where we spend part of the year. We have volunteered to be her flight angel, which means we can fly her to the US on June 12 if we can find her a good home. We will be flying into Reno, NV, on that date. She is vaccinated, dewormed and spayed. She has been living in a clean, loving home with other foster dogs, a cat, and two young children, so she is well-adjusted and ready for her forever home. Adoption fee of $150 applies to offset some of the costs that her foster mom has incurred and the cost of bringing her to the US. It also ensures she is going to a home that can continue to provide proper care, since owning a dog has its related expenses that you should be prepared to cover. If the fee is a hardship for you but you feel you can provide a good home, please let me know. Since she was abandoned, we do not know her breed mixture, but I can tell you she is sweet, curious and great with kids and other animals. I can provide photos of her siblings if you’re curious. I would also be happy to FaceTime if you’d like to “meet” her virtually. Her foster home is right next door to us. The vet believes she is now about 12 weeks old. She’s a very special girl and I know she’ll make someone’s family very lucky! And you’ll be saving her from a sad and difficult life on the streets of Mexico. -Miriam
