The short answer is nothing. There is nothing you can do, especially for those who put their trust in politicians. Because no one here truly studies or understands the science of politics (Political Science 151 if you will,) they fail to understand that all politicians are basically the same, actors, who say what their electors want them to say to get a paycheck. That doesn't make them bad, it is no less than you or I would do for a six figure paycheck. The only people who tell the truth are those who wring their hands and say "nothing can be done." The mighty NRA and gun manufacturers make sure of that fact. Only when (God forbid) the real calamity happens, say for instance the child of someone beloved by all American is slaughtered, or someone of a race, ethnicity that we disdain slaughters our children, will the nation finally get it. Until then, nothing will be done. Either home school your babies, or pray to Jesus. Those are your options. We stack what is supposed to be a non-political United States Supreme Court in order to prevent women from making reproductive choices, but no number of slaughtered REAL human life is enough for us to get off our couches grousing about murdered, tiny children. Shame Americans!
