Ales for Tails is back! Join the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (ARLGP) for Maine's only dog-centric beer festival, Ales for Tails. Ales for Tails is an afternoon of Maine-brewed beers, food truck deliciousness, and oceanside fun with your human and canine best friends-- all to support the ARLGP's life-saving work. Our 2022 breweries include: Allagash Brewing Company, Austin Street Brewing, Banded Brewing, Bangor Beer Company, Bissell Brothers, Brickyard Hollow, Definitive Brewing Company, Fore River Brewing Company, Foulmouthed Brewing, Foundation Brewing Company, Goodfire Brewing, Island Dog Brewing, Nonesuch River Brewing, Olive Pit Brewing and Rising Tide Brewing. Plus, a paw-some lineup of food trucks/carts: Smokey & Brines, Mr. Tuna, Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck and Zephyr Ice Each admission includes (5) 8-ounce pours for the brewery booths, free parking, and an aluminum souvenir tasting cup. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend at no additional cost. Pre-purchased tickets are $60 per person, $70 at the door (if we do not sell out in advance). This is a 21+ event. All funds raised directly support the nearly 4,000 pets that depend on our life-saving work every year. Thank you for joining Ales for Tails and supporting pets in need! EVENT FAQ’S – PLEASE READ: Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? IDs of all attendees will be checked at the door and bracelets will be provided. Ales for Tails is a 21+ event. The ARLGP strictly abides by Maine State Liquor Laws. What are my transport/parking options? Parking is included in your admission to Ales for Tails. Ticket holders will receive detailed instructions the day before the event on where to park on the SMCC campus. I have a question. How can I contact the organizer? Please keep your ticket handy, either on the Eventbrite app, in your email or by printing it out and bringing it with you to the event. We must scan the code on your ticket for your admittance. What is the refund policy? Sorry, no refunds will be issued for this event. This is a rain-or-shine event. If you cannot attend, your ticket cost will still support the ARLGP’s life-saving work. My friend wants to come but isn't sure they can make it. Can they put a ticket on hold? Unfortunately, tickets cannot be placed on hold or reserved. Ales for Tails sells out annually. Due to COVID-19, only 600 event tickets will be available. Purchasing your event ticket as soon as possible is highly encouraged to ensure you can join the fun.
