Iron Kim Women's Self Defense is a beginner program teaching safe and effective movements that anyone can learn. Participants will learn how to turn everyday objects into weapons for self defense, and how to safely use their body and voice to put an offender on the defense
To begin our class we will cover a series of conditioning movements along with breathing, stretching and strengthening techniques. These exercises help to increase mobility, boost energy levels, and reduce stress. Practicing these exercises consistently will enhance determination, awareness, and confidence.
Self Defense Techniques will consist of:
How to react against punches, grabs from behind and throat attacks using movements that leverage your strength.Techniques to stay calm and focused under pressured situationsStretching and strengthening exercises to condition the bodyFirst time participants should plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. Preferred attire: loose fitting clothing that you can move around in comfortably.
