Join the Mental Wellness Mom Squad for a free community walk & talk to meet new moms of all ages and stages and get some fresh air before it's 108 degrees. We will walk a bit and have some open conversation about motherhood, taking care of ourselves, summer plans, activism etc. Anything goes. Mental Wellness Mom Squad welcomes all women who identify as moms, including female-bodied, female-identified, trans-feminine, and queer women. If you have a problem with this, we are not for you. We will meet at Standley Lake Open Space. Standley Lake is located at 100th Avenue and Simms Street . Along the south side of West 100th Avenue at Owens Street is a small parking area that provides free walk-in and bicycle access to the park. We will gather in the parking lot. Look for the women with the Mom Squad sign. :-) Please register if you plan to attend so we can communicate with you in the event of rain or another weather event that changes plans. FREE TO ATTEND! Bring your water bottle, hat, sunscreen and if you are like us, a snack. Kids, strollers & people-friendly leashed dogs are optional but welcome.
