Description
Candidate must be honest, hardworking, take pride in their work, be organized, and be able to work independently.
Must be able to successfully manage and complete the following tasks on a weekly and/or bi-weekly basis. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Sweep, vacuum, and/or mop floors
- Dust and wash various surfaces
- Clean and sanitize multiple bathrooms and restock paper products in them each week
- Empty trash cans, replace trash liners, place trash and recyclables on curb on pickup day each week
- Take on special projects that require basic carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills. Some tools provided
- Repair damaged furniture, doors, chairs, doorways, windows, cabinets, shelving and other common fixtures
- Replace light bulbs and keep light fixtures dust/dirt free
- Prepare and "touch up" and/or paint walls, doors, ceilings, base boards
- Perform some landscaping tasks such as weeding, planting/removing flowers, and trimming bushes
- Water flowers in the churches, remove flowers after they wilt
- Set up and break down tables and chairs for monthly meetings
- Make deliveries and run errands
- Replace offertory candles in the metal racks at each church, each week
- Keep track of which cleaning supplies, candles and other supplies that need to be reordered
- Mileage reimbursed for traveling between church locations and making deliveries
- Medical, dental, vision benefits not included
- PLEASE NOTE: A mandatory background check will be conducted
We offer a very pleasant work environment with kind and caring people. Our facilities are all in good condition and need someone to keep them that way.
21- 28 hours per week (7 hours a day, three or four days a week. Days are flexible; however, must work Fridays in order to make deliveries.)
