WALTHAM, MA — The City of Waltham is hosting a variety of Memorial Day ceremonies and events this year. Here is a full list of programs from Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30. Friday, May 27 George Maynard Ceremony at Mt. Feake at 10:30 a.m.Saturday, May 28 National Guard Veterans' and Boy Scouts Placing of the Flags at the Mt. Feake Cemetery lower lot at 9:45 a.m. Girl Scouts will place flags at Calvary Cemetery at 12 p.m.Sunday, May 29 John M. Sullivan Memorial Service will take place at 9 a.m. at the corner of Lincoln and Lake Streets.The Veterans' Memorial Church Service will take place at Our Lady's Church, located at 920 Trapelo Road, at 11:30 a.m. Participants are asked to bring chairs. Monday, May 30 Gold Star Mothers' Memorial at 9 a.m. at the Prospect Street Bridge.Memorial Day Services will be held on the Waltham Common at 10 a.m. Meet at the City Hall parking lot on Elm Street at 9:30 a.m. For more information, contact Director of Veterans' Affairs Michael Russo at 781-314-3416.
