Press release from the Town of Wakefield: May 26, 2022 Lazaro Paving Corporation will soon begin road reclamation on Forrester Road and Pleasant Street. Work on Forrester Road, between Brewster Road and Vernon Street, is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 27. Work on Pleasant Street, from Brewster Road to Salem Street, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 31. Iron castings will be lowered, the roads reclaimed, the sites graded and compacted, and a binder course of pavement laid. Please seek alternative routes and allow additional time if you commute takes you through this area. Residents' curbside refuse and recycling should be placed outside by 6 a.m. on their typical pick-up days. This schedule could be impacted by weather and other factors.
