SB 870 is solid legislation. The electoral college is undemocratic.

Description

The only reason there exists an electoral college, was as a means to appease those reprehensible states that practiced slavery. The EC was intended to give those states more power by giving 3/5 personhood to the enslaved, when counting the population to determine electoral votes. In the 21st century, all it does is give more weight to certain citizens' votes, at the expense of other citizens. Oregon has joined the 21st century. Thank God.
