Full-Time Handyman for Vacation Rental Company (Miami / Dania Beach / Fort Lauderdale) Compensation: $3000+ Monthly This is a part-time to full time job that will cover property maintenance for 4 properties in South Florida... This job will be a great long-term position that will be needed for as far into the future as possible. Secondly, we have some units that need full renovations and the holder of this position would be first in line to quote and receive jobs that need to be done... Currently, we have a renovation of one unit in Fort Lauderdale after a tenant just moved out on the 1st, followed by a new bathroom remodel in Miami, a large tile job in Miami, a Fence job needed in Ft. Lauderdale, a replacement of hurricane windows in Miami and in Dania Beach along with many other jobs that will be needed. 2 Located in South Fort Lauderdale 1 located in Dania Beach 1 located in Miami (Coral Gables Area) All 4 properties have short-term rental units that are in need of constant maintenance. We also have much work to do on improvements to the properties, so I have plenty of work that needs to be done. You will need reliable transportation to travel between FLL and Miami as well as your own basic tools. Jobs will be as you might expect and will include plumbing maintenance, landscaping, and construction... so the more skills you have to complete these tasks, the more likely you are to be a good fit. A good example is the ability to install a pre-hung door and frame. This job will pay by individual contract for each task. I expect a minimum of 30 hours a week of labor needed, specifically from 11 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday plus Saturday if you want more work. (Emergency calls on Sundays only). You will be given a list of items to attend to at the beginning of the week and check them off throughout the week.
