Overland Park, Kan. – The City of Overland Park announces today three grant programs for the Overland Park small business community.
The grant programs, designed with help by Community Capital Fund (CCF) of Kansas City, Missouri, utilized information gathered during a robust community engagement process to ensure that they were tailored to current business needs related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The grant programs are funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The City of Overland Park has allocated $3 million to this program. Applications will be accepted until June 30, 2022, and special consideration will be given to businesses that provide goods or services to low-to-moderate income residents and registered minority-owned, woman-owned, or disadvantaged-owned enterprises. "Overland Park small businesses are a driving force behind our community's strong neighborhoods, infrastructure, and of course, economic growth," said Mayor Curt Skoog. "Using this federal funding to support these businesses is key to Overland Park's continued success through the pandemic."
