Riley is almost a 3 year old red neutered merle mini Australian shepherd. He will be 3 on June 5th. He is due for an annual vet visit and shots I will send you a photo of what he is due for. Our only reason for rehoming is our other dog is fighting with him. The other dog is instigating and being protective of us and our female dog. It’s not fair to Riley to keep him in a home where he is terrorized by another dog. Our 1 year old also thinks it is fun to chase him from time to time and all of this stresses him out. Riley would do best in a home with no dogs that have territorial issues (he loves to play with other dogs especially outside, and take a couple weeks to warm up to new dogs inside) and RESPECTFUL children (ideally ages 5+). He has never bitten our kids and will run from our 1 year old if he is afraid rather than bite. We used to have cats but he constantly herded them, so for the cats sake no cats either. He would do great in the country on a farm if he can be trained as a working dog. He loves going for walks and needs a fenced yard if not in the country, though he has great name recall unless marking a bush lol. He absolutely is food driven and will do anything for food. We will not rehome to people who live in apartments or are unable to give him the time he needs to be outside. Rehoming fee applies. Email for more information.
