Description
E N E R G Y by smallWORLD Collective smallWORLD Collective Ages 21+ DJ Dapper, TORi (Fiat Lux), DJ Ca$h Era, DJ duo The Lab3l, DJ Khali Melon Every month is centered in queer pride for us, but during Pride month we go harder to commemorate the liberation efforts of our ancestors, and celebrate ourselves. June 26th, after the parade or as an alternative, come party with us on the South side at Promontory 4-9PM as we center queer joy through music, movement and a collective exhale on the dance floor! smallWORLD Collective got its start during Pride 5 years ago, and we’ve been curating intentional space with a focus on Black queer women, trans and gender non-conforming folks ever since. We’re celebrating sWC’s anniversary with the lineup to keep you sweating all night long as co-founders DJ Dapper and TORi, Ca$h Era, The Lab3l, and DJ Khali Melon! We’ve got the hottest lineup of gogo dancers, so get your tip dollars ready for Mocha Mocha, Fierce, Uncty Vic, and TAVI. Don’t wait to grab your tix because prices will go up! All energies are welcome, but E N E R G Y is a party that centers Black queer women and TGNC folks. *Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test required for entry* This location is ADA accessible. There is an elevator to the space & seating available. If you need assistance contact the Promontory at (312) 801-2100 or sWC at [email protected] By attending E N E R G Y, you are giving your consent to be filmed, photographed, or recorded. These pictures and/or videos can be used for any and all E N E R G Y promotional and media outlets. No outside filming or photography with professional equipment allowed. Please contact us if you would prefer not to be photographed. smallWORLD Collective is an organization whose mission is to produce cultural, artistic, and informative programming, promote sex and body positivity, and uplift Black Queer Women, TGNC people, and other marginalized communities through intentionally curated events, art, fashion, grassroots media, and activism.
