Backyard chicken eggs are delicious and nutritious, thier poop is a great addition to your compost pile, and they are endless fun and entertainment!  If you are interested in getting chickens but are unsure how to begin, or if you already have chickens and have some questions you would like to ask a seasoned chicken owner please join us for our Backyard Chicken Talk! We will have our very own Tami Purdue, an experienced chicken owner, to talk about the basics of keeping backyard chickens such as tips on keeping your chickens safe from pedators, daily care, coop maintanence and anything else you may be curious about. This will be a discussion-style talk, so come ready with any questions you may have! You will aslo get to meet the Sweet Peas Urban Gardens chickens!  We hope to see you there! This event will be held outside so please dress accordingly.
