The City of Denver is currently housing 140 individuals experiencing homelessness at the Aloft hotel in downtown Denver. Members of UpDoNa, a neighborhood organization, have told the Denver City Council that it's ruining their neighborhood, and causing safety and sanitation issues. (Denverite) Denver Auditor said the Fair Election Fund needs better oversight. According to a recent auditor's report, the Denver Fair Elections Fund needs better oversight and a clearer set of policies to make sure that campaign donations come from approved sources. (KPVI) Mercury Cafe may fall into the shadows of a pair of 25-story apartment towers. There's a proposal to build a total of 646 dwelling units, along with two retail spaces on the main floor, at 22nd and California, across the street from the legendary Mercury Cafe.
