Join us on June 18th to celebrate the beautiful weather and local gardens in the company town famous for building America’s most iconic bridges! Your guided walking tour of the Roebling gardens will start at Roebling Museum where you will check in and get a map of the locations included on the tour, blurbs about each garden, and historic highlights. The tours will run about an hour and a half. If you would prefer a self-guided tour, please be sure to buy the self-guided ticket, rather than a timed tour ticket. About the event: When the Roebling Mill was open and homes in the company town were leased to workers, many of the families grew gardens with flowers as well as food. The Roebling Company would sponsor competitions to encourage residents to tend to their gardens and keep their properties looking well-cared-for. Continuing this tradition with our Garden Tour builds pride in our community and gives residents a chance to show off their green thumbs!
