Council receives update on Public Safety Master Plan The city council received an update on a plan to review public safety operations and procedures. The project will involve both the fire and police departments and scope will include technical data, surveys and town hall listening sessions supported by the city's community engagement platform, Minnetonka Matters. Council adopts resolution on the final Plat of Monson Meadows at 5500 Rowland Road and an adjacent, unaddressed parcel The city council adopted the resolution on the final plat. On Nov. 8, 2021, council approved the preliminary plat of the property at 5500 Rowland Road. The plat divided the existing lot into two single-family residential lots, with front yard setback variances. Council accepts Strategic Profile Quarter 1 Report The city council adopted the strategic profile quarter one report. The strategic profile is an instrumental and living document that guides the work of the city. Council adopts resolutions on Border Foods project plans at 15110 Highway 7 The city council adopted the conditional use permit with variances, and a site and building plan. Border Foods, a franchisee or Taco Bell Corp., is proposing to redevelop the existing Taco Bell restaurant at 15110 Highway 7. Council introduces ordinance on licensed daycare, Rayito Del Sol, at 3520 Williston Road The city council introduced the ordinance, provided feedback and referred it to the planning commission. The roughly 20-acre subject site is improved with three buildings, athletic fields, surface parking, and an outdoor play area. The proposal would convert space into classroom space.
