The federal government announced plans to convert several Minnesota COVID-19 testing sites into "test-to-treat" centers, which will make the antiviral treatment Paxlovid more easily accessible to people who test positive for the virus. Nine Minnesotans died of COVID-19 Thursday, the state health department reports. (CBS) 2. A north Minneapolis woman was hit by outside gunfire in her home Wednesday afternoon, police said. She was hospitalized after being shot in the 3000 block of Emerson Avenue North. (CBS) 3. A Minneapolis intersection will officially be named after Prince following a City Council vote Thursday. The corner of 1st Avenue and 7th Street will become "Prince Rogers Nelson Way" on June 7, which would have been the Minnesota musician's 64th birthday. (FOX) 4. Conflicting data sets show the Twin Cities both growing and losing population over the past 10 years, the Star Tribune reports.
