Hello fellow San Fernando Valleyians I will be opening a woodshop in my garage, to create anything from small items like coasters, to large furniture. I currently operate as a handyman/painter, but with taking care of my fiancee who is permanently disabled, not being home for 8 hours at a time is tough on her. So, a woodworking shop is my solution to working from home. While I'm in the process of getting the garage ready, I thought it would be nice to help out my neighbors and take on some small projects. **If you've got a small woodworking project you've thought about, I'd be happy to take care of it for you for the cost of materials only and no additional cost, unless I need to deliver it for you.** It might sound a little weird that I'm offering to work for free, but I'd just like to do something nice for someone else and get some practice in. Two birds one stone kinda thing. Help another, help myself. The other option is make stuff for myself but this is more fun. List of ideas for projects you can request: small/medium Garden beds (raised or not) Planter Boxes (raised or not) Simple 2x4 Potting Bench Cedar Tiered ladder planters Small Birdhouses Bird Feeder (looks like an open birdhouse) Wood Crate (storage, carrying stuff) If you have any other small projects in mind, let me know and we can discuss it. I will probably only take on about 3 to 5 projects and it will be first come first serve. Please PM me with pictures similar to what you'd like. I am located in Winnetka which is on the west side of SFV around Woodland Hills and Canoga Park, so keep that in mind in regards to picking up or delivery. Especially if you want something like a potting bench and I have to take my 12mpg cargo van :P
