Here are the top stories today in Huntsville: The City of Huntsville has a signed Tony Hawk skateboard to give away! There will be a meeting Tuesday to talk about an update on the skate park, and the board will be given away to someone at that meeting. (Huntsville)John Hunt Park is going to be expanded after a decision at the city council meeting this week! The park will be getting new turf fields, parking lots, and new facilities. The project is expected to cost around $16 million, but the hope is that it will bring in more tournaments and SEC events. (WAFF)Athens State University has added two new partnerships to their partnership program. Crestwood Medical System and Aetos will be part of the program and their employees will be eligible for the benefits: 10% off posted tuition, no application fees, and free evaluation of previous credits and experience for transfer. (WHNT)A contract for the new Legacy Park in northwest Huntsville was approved at the city council meeting this week. It will be located near Johnson Legacy Center and will feature something for the whole family. The contract was for $4.6 million.
