Older bass player seeks casual situation

Older (51) bass player looking to hook up with some local musicians for some casual garage/cover/jam/weekend beers type stuff. Not necessarily looking to be gigging right away. I haven’t played with other people since the mid 90’s so there’s certainly some rust, dust and cobwebs to knock off. My musical preferences run to the heavier side of rock including “classic” punk and metal, but I’ll play almost anything that’s interesting. I don’t read music, but can learn most things by ear or in a pinch, tabs. Bonus points if you have a space to host, and even more bonus points if you’re a drummer. IME, the whole mix works best when the drums and bass get along like PB&J. If you’re fairly new to music and at the point where you want to start playing with others, I’m fine with that. I have my own gear and you should as well. I’m available most Friday and Saturday evenings or nights. Beer is my jam, 420 doesn’t bother me as long as you can stay focused.
