Laws don't stop people from committing crimes ! We do need to have red flag laws and no 18 year old should be able to buy a rifle ! The presence of a gun does cause people to commit a crime ! You site safety regulations as the reason that this doesn't happen in other countries. I don't believe that's the reason at all that mass shootings don't happen in those countries. We have serious mental health crisis in this country ! This is a societal problem ! Something has happened to the way a child is being raised in this country to cause them to want to kill innocent people ! As for the other countries, Japan has the most people in your list around 126 million followed by the U. K. with 68 m. Australia has around 25.7 then there's Switzerland at 8.7 million. How do you propose to confiscate the 300 million or so guns in the U. S. with around 330 million people ? Ain't feasible ! We have to protect are children ! I wish I knew what to do !
