Tuxedo Cat Seeks New Home

Description
I was heartbroken. Somebody I loved ditched me last winter. I have no idea why. Cold and hungry, I found this place where people put food out and there was shelter. Granted, I had to beat up and drive off other cats. They seemed to think the food and shelter was for them. But, hey; I'm bigger than them. Then the people in the house started petting me, and when they saw how friendly I was, they brought me inside for the winter. One day they took me to a strange place where I was given a deluxe community cat treatment. I was vaccinated, flea treated, and "fixed" (whatever that means). But other than that, I was happy to be inside a warm house. There are other cats inside the house and they think the food and litter boxes are for them. So, again, I have to beat them up and drive them off. But, hey; I'm bigger than them. So, now the people leave me locked in a room of the house most of the time - which gets really boring and lonely. I’m ready for a change. I'm about 3 years old and incredibly handsome in my all-natural, short-haired, tuxedo coat. I really like getting petted, chin-scratching, and rubbing against people affectionately. I love a nice comfortable lap! I'm litter box trained and want to be at least a mostly an indoor cat. I’m timid around dogs. Probably, you know, because they are bigger than me. But other cats are REALLY not my thing! I was a full Tom Cat for a long time, so I know how to be aggressive when I need to. And I’m nervous about being abandoned again, so I feel this strong urge to be the only cat and drive off any other cats that might be competition. And I’ve had a tough enough past that I’m not really into rough playing. For this reason, I might not make a good pet for a young child. I’m ready to love (and be loved) again. I want to share a nice, sizable space with one or more good people, where it’s warm in the winter and not too hot in the summer. I will accept food, comfort, care, and adoration from the human(s), and in exchange, I will purr. My re-homing will include a supply of my current dry and wet food, a litter box and fresh litter. I’m on the southwest side on Indianapolis, near Kentucky Ave. and Holt Rd. My name is Tuxie, I’m a cat, and I approve this message. If you are interested in being my human, please reply to this message or call three-one-seven, 450, eight-six-seven-five. Meow.
