Painting classes at the Back Door Gallery will start Tuesday May 31st, 6 PM to 9 PM. The course will be 5 weeks long - 5/31, 6/7, 6/14, 6/21 and 6/28. The teacher will be Gretchen Sutton Dobbs, who also teaches at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. The 5-week course will cost $150, payable in full by 5/27. Participants will explore oil and acrylic painting through classic techniques and enrich your understanding of a new or familiar medium with a variety of painting methods and subjects. Students will learn about materials, color palette, and composition while pursuing individual painting styles and subject matter.
