Craft products with your hands - Pet/fish product needs volunteer

Our less-than-3-person office needs a part-time helper to learn how to build/craft small pet products from our space in South Salt Lake on State Street. We make and sell an eco friendly ocean-like product to take care of fish (and soon for other pets and gardens too), and ship it to customers around the world, so this is a great chance to see how your crafting skills can help with actual business. Cutting, sizing, drilling, painting, gluing or casting with epoxy, silicone and urethane, and even electrical soldering. Also learn how to do final assembly, boxing, and quality checks of other people's work. If you like DIY crafting, sculpting, or knitting artsy things, or you helped your parents repair things around the house, then you'll like learning these things. We have several patents and trademarks, and we are well known in our line of products, so you'll be handling real world situations. You can listen to your own music the whole time on our wifi, and bring food to eat here too, if you want. If you happen to read and write languages besides English, especially Dutch, Swedish, French, German or Italian, then tell us! Portuguese, Arabic, Farsi, Chinese and Japanese are also welcome. You could help us with translations, or with marketing to those countries. We need at least 3 hours a week. This can be a few hours each day, or a few long days, however fits your schedule the best. Hours are flexible week-to-week too, between 10am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday are available to, so that you can change each week if you need to. This is a great opportunity for homemakers who want to do hands-on things outside the house, or for retired folks who want to keep busy but don't want any more career obligations, or of course for students needing to learn new things, and for the handicapped too. We are a block south of 3300, walking distance from many restaurants and shops nearby, and the bus stops directly in front of our office. Or if you drive, our parking lot always has empty spaces to use. Full training is provided. Resume' credit given too if needed. There are no beginning or ending dates.
