Hi there, Putting a band together and also networking. Seeking bassist and drummer. Need 12/8 swing and funk swing skills in addition to classic shuffles. Looking for musicians that are *passionate about the blues* and also like to get a little jazzy, funky, grungy, and avant-garde. Improvisation, variation, counterpoint, groove, and tone are some of my priorities. I’m a blues singer and guitarist into Albert King, Magic Sam, T-Bone, B.B., SRV, Lightnin’, Broonzy, Collins, Jimi, Kurt, and others. Have decades of musical experience and a repertoire of blues standards and a few originals. I’ve got pro gear, a PA, and reliable transport. Looking to work with musicians that: -Behave professionally and dress well. -Are humble, positive, and open-minded. -Don’t get drunk or high on the job. -Are available to practice regularly and able to gig regionally. -Have a reliable vehicle.
