Description

young white male looking to frot . . . I’m a singer/guitar player/songwriter here in Faye tteville. I’m looking to put together a group of versatile people that love to play, write and cover tunes. I put indie in the title but don’t let that narrow anything too much. I’m into a wide variety of genres inclu ding pop, funk, soul, some country, some rock.. I have a decent practice space (my garage) and would like to be able to have one or two rehearsals a week, with the in tention of playing out regionally once a good set of songs is establish ed. Gr eetings! If you're interested in playing in a country, country rock, classic rock band and are dependable, have good skills, great equipment and stage experience, please respond to this ad. Vocals are a plus but not necessary. We are once again firing up the Train and are in need of a bassist to complete the band. NO DRUGS, HEAVY DRINKING OR DRAMA. Please respond asap.34 y/o M looking for ride to Pho enix or Tuscan from Cottonwood to visit GF. Car is current ly in shop and trying to avoid renting a car, or riding Groom. Looking for Friday May 27th or Saturday the 28th. Looking for a great djembe, cajon, shaker, hand percussionist for a new church in Prescott. Must have a good feel for the nuances of hand percussion in a worship setting. I also have an interest in possibly playing weddings as I have an “in” in that industry. Being able to write origins stuff is pretty important, and as far as covers go I’d want to take the songs we choose in a unique direction, kinda make them our own in a way. I would not want to be another bar band that just butchers the top 100 songs of all time list every weekend. I really dig the way Scary Pockets covers songs, look them up if you haven’t. As far as originals go- I don’t want to list a few bands and narrow the potential. Organ/piano player looking to form 3 piece instrumental group. Nothing too stale. Nothing to o laid back. Some 60's-70's stuff, some standards. Wanting to try some stuff that isn't traditionally instrumental. Need a co-driver to Santa Barbara from Prescott, via Palm Springs. Driving newer Jeep Wrangler. Will stay in Palm Springs on the 10th, then Santa Barbara on the 11th. You need to be a responsible, drug-free driver with current license. No need to pay for gas, but you will need to take care of/pay for your own lodging in Palm Springs. Expect to share driving duties; you will drive 5 hours or so the first day, 3 the second. Pleas e reply with an introduction and tell me something about your past driving experience, Thank you. I play guitar/compose/synth/production a nd mixing. It would be aweso me to find some people interested in this kind of sound and see if we can evolve it into something more unique. I do have some things already written if it's something you'd like to hear I could send. Please respond with what you play/ex perience/ etc.
