Please join Boston College alumni for an evening of homebuyer education, conversation, and refreshments on Thursday, June 9 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boston College Club. Whether you are a few months or many years away from purchasing your first home, we welcome you to attend so when the time comes for you to embark on the home-buying process, you will have all of the tools to be successful. This interactive event will allow prospective homebuyers the opportunity to ask questions of trustworthy real estate professionals and leave with a greater understanding of the in’s and out’s of home-buying. This event is hosted in partnership with the Boston College Club’s Young Executive Committee. It is free and open to the public. All Boston College alumni and Boston College Club members will receive one complimentary drink. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Meet the Panel: Chelsea Garvey, Moderator (CSOM ‘21): Chelsea is an Account Manager for the Occupier Services division within CBRE. In her role, Chelsea performs value-add real estate advisory, strategy, and consulting to clients and their key stakeholders with global portfolios, as well as new clients by being the direct liaison for all CBRE platform services and consulting measures. Before joining Advisory & Transaction Services, Chelsea was on the Global Workplace Solutions team at CBRE focusing on enterprise clients within the Financial and Professional Services sector. Chelsea received her master of business administration (MBA) from Boston College ‘21 and her bachelor’s degree from Longwood University ‘12. Katherine Donahue, REALTOR® (MCAS ’14 ): Katherine is one of the founding agents of COMPASS’ Greene Group, a team of elite real estate professionals with over 30 years of combined experience in the Greater Boston area. A Weston native and longtime Back Bay resident, Katherine possesses an intimate knowledge and love of the Boston and surrounding markets. She prides herself on delivering unparalleled service to both buyers and sellers through clear communication, meticulous organization, and a first-rate client experience. Katherine received her bachelor’s degree from Boston College ‘14 and master’s degree from Columbia University ‘15. TJ Broderick, Loan Originator (MCAS ’21): TJ is a Mortgage Loan Originator with Fairway Independent Mortgage, the third-largest purchase-based mortgage company, out of their South Boston branch. TJ is a Boston native, born in Brighton and raised in Hyde Park. He is also a graduate of Catholic Memorial School and Boston College ‘21. He has the approach of an advisor, providing borrowers with thorough advice aided by the most cutting-edge technology in the mortgage industry. Derek Heltzel, Attorney (BC Law ’17): Derek is a real estate attorney and a founding partner of Standard Title & Escrow, PLLC. Derek represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in all aspects of real estate transactions. While attending Boston College Law School, he worked as a title examiner at the Middlesex South County Registry of Deeds and externed for the Honorable Alexander Sands III at the Massachusetts Land Court. Derek received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University ‘13 and his juris doctorate from Boston College Law School ‘17. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and currently resides in Boston. Robert Lemone, Financial Advisor (CSOM ‘20 ): Robert is a Financial advisor with the Appelstein Monahan Group at Morgan Stanley’s State Street Office in Boston. A graduate of St. Sebastian's School and Boston College ‘20, Rob advises individuals and families on comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management. Rob is dedicated to developing personal relationships with clients and takes the time to understand their needs and goals.
