Description
Beginning in July, the Institute for the Advancement of Women’s Health, with support from the Medical Society of Virginia, will begin another six-month Self-Measured Blood Pressure (SMBP) hypertension control program to address chronic disease health disparities.
The program, mostly online, focuses on behavior monitoring, physical activity, and diet and includes a free Bluetooth blood pressure monitor, evidence-based presentations from clinicians and other experts, small group peer-to-peer community learning and more. The program is free and will run from July – December, but enrollment closes on Friday, June 17. For more information and to enroll visit www.iawh.org/smbp.
