This workshop will showcase some of the Society’s oral history collection and teach attendees how to create their own oral histories and how to preserve family audio files. Representatives from EverPresent and/or NEDCC (Northeast Document Conservation Center) will discuss past conservation projects for the Society and help attendees plan their own audio file creation and preservation. Sean Osborne from the Association of Black Citizens of Lexington (ABCL) will discuss his ongoing production of oral history interviews with Black residents in Lexington as part of the Black History Project of Lexington.
