SUMMIT, NJ — Did you know actress Sadie Sink, one of the stars of Netflix's "Stanger Things" is a Summit resident?
Season four of "Stranger Things" was released on Friday, and 20-year-old Sink can be seen playing Max Mayfield, along with cast members Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder and more.
Sink's father, Casey Sink, is a math teacher and coach at Summit High School. The family also resides in Summit.
Besides "Stranger Things," Sink also recently gained recognition for her role in Taylor Swift's "All Too Well: The Short Film" that was released in November of last year.
It's been nearly three years since the last season of "Stranger Things" came out. For those who don't know, the famous Netflix series is packed with 1980s nostalgia and is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.
The fourth season is being released in two volumes — with the first coming out on Friday, and the second coming out five weeks later on July 1.
According to GamesRadar, the new season "takes place six months after the Battle of Starcourt and sees the residents of Hawkins struggling to deal with being separated for the first time. All the while, a new evil threatens the lives of those still living in the small Indiana town."
