MAHWAH, NJ — One person died and another was injured after a major crash that took place on Route 17 in Mahwah Thursday morning, according to NorthJersey.com. A Toyota Sienna minivan crashed into a tractor trailer in front of the Pilot gas station on Route 17, Mayor Jim Wysocki told NorthJersey. A male passenger died in the crash, and the female driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, according to Wysocki. Traffic was only moving in the left lane on 17 south after the crash but has since started moving again, NorthJersey.com said. The Mahwah Police Department was on scene following the crash.
